The score for this play was highly influenced by its location. The venue was a temporary theater in the Fort Port neighborhood of Boston. It had a cement floor and wooden rafters; the acoustics were very resonant. You could hear low rumbles and big clangs from the street traffic outside. I used these sounds in the score itself, finding ways to create strange and atmospheric vibrations from my electric guitar.

The other influence was Silvia's writing. She told a compelling story that was complex and disturbing - that's exciting territory to score!
